This piece is very interesting actually because I never seen such a thing like it and I didn’t know that prostitution is legal In someplaces. It’s a message that says don’t take women for advantage and just having sex with any woman is not okay. But then again you also have to look at the selling standpoint the men selling these women for sex most likely has no other way of making money I don’t know why I’m thinking this but maybe it’s true. And do women like sign up for this or are they like kidnapped like the movie taken with Liam Neeson and then sold.

The purpose I was thinking that the purpose was awareness but what is awareness going to do like who can you tell. Sex trafficking is legal you can’t go and get help or tell the police so I was thinking that maybe changing the law would be a big leap but it might be the purpose for all of this.

Catching people’s attention I think it’s sad that women have to go through this in Amsterdam and it’s sad that people wouldn’t really care about it unless it was thenn or a family memeber or someone they know. It’s crazy that you have to get peoples attention in order for them to  realize how serious that matter is.

Play review

I really enjoyed the play my classmates did a great job performing . The play was kind of confusing at first I didn’t really understand what was going on but as I started to watch more I understood that the two characters were pretending to be a guy they weren’t to get a girl, which is my type of play. The actors did a good job projecting their voice in the black box and blocking. You can tell the first male actor that came out on stage was one of the main characters just by the way he carried himself with such enthusiasm. He did a good job with putting in jokes to make the audience laugh, and did a good job with expressing his emotion and blocking. The lighting crew ha a hard job as they had to focus the spotlight on the actors who moved a lot , but as the spotlight hit the audience knew which character to focus on. The set up of the play had me confused... I didn’t really know where the play took place but other than that I think the play was very good and a success

Silent movie feedback

Overall reactions the film was good I like the music a lot the camera man or woman did a really good job with catching everything. Weaknesses I was a little confused about the storyline especially when the woman was on the flier with the gun and the phone didn’t really know what happened and the next thing you know they’re all  running around. I didn’t really know who was in jail either it looked like one big cell Strengths the theme was very creative I like how mischievous it was with the one person going back and stealing more money from the bank it really looked like a silent movie the actors really sold their performances.

Final Project

When I first started taking this class in the middle of my sophomore year I didn’t know what to expect. At first it was really weird acting and doing weird things in front of people i didn’t know, but I knew I was outgoing creative and funny so eventually it will work out. I never would have thought that their were so many different ways to act ONE SCENE, a scene can be completely different based on a smile or a frown.  I progressed drastically as the course went on lol I never liked these blogs post I use to not do them at all but then I realized how much it effected my grade. After my final Project skit last year I knew it was something I would want to do again. The following year I took this class again and this time we had A LOT of more students. I brought my talents and ideas to a group full of passionate students and directors with acting/dancing/singing backgrounds I learned how to work on staging this year it really brought my acting skills to the next level...
