Blog Post -in/class writing

:My part of the project I felt I did a very good job picking up the role of Paul. I did a good job with adding in mood conversations with my sister Jess. Basing our conversations off of how we felt about my friend Charlie calling the house phone over and over.


: Our group scene as a whole was very good,  we did a good job going kind of off scrip with some of our responses. Our director did a great job with Ques and lighting. In the beginning we had a hard time figuring out the lighting, and how we were going to be able to hide Paul out of the scene, but we met as a whole cast and came together on a decision.

:@CADramaticArts2018Pacifica- Your group did a good job with setting the mood of the songalogue. I could tell that it was a rainy day due to the sounds of rain, and Brooklyn holding her umbrella. The main actor in the songalogue could have slowed down a little bit just so people can follow more. The spotlight was a great idea because we were able to see the main actor very well.

@MaoiDramaticartsBlog- I like the idea of the staging of your songalogue and the musical background you guys added to it. The main character did a good job keeping focusing on keeping a serious tone. The person in charge of the camera messed up the video at the end could have done a better job with holding the camera

Play review

I really enjoyed the play my classmates did a great job performing . The play was kind of confusing at first I didn’t really understand what was going on but as I started to watch more I understood that the two characters were pretending to be a guy they weren’t to get a girl, which is my type of play. The actors did a good job projecting their voice in the black box and blocking. You can tell the first male actor that came out on stage was one of the main characters just by the way he carried himself with such enthusiasm. He did a good job with putting in jokes to make the audience laugh, and did a good job with expressing his emotion and blocking. The lighting crew ha a hard job as they had to focus the spotlight on the actors who moved a lot , but as the spotlight hit the audience knew which character to focus on. The set up of the play had me confused... I didn’t really know where the play took place but other than that I think the play was very good and a success

Silent movie feedback

Overall reactions the film was good I like the music a lot the camera man or woman did a really good job with catching everything. Weaknesses I was a little confused about the storyline especially when the woman was on the flier with the gun and the phone didn’t really know what happened and the next thing you know they’re all  running around. I didn’t really know who was in jail either it looked like one big cell Strengths the theme was very creative I like how mischievous it was with the one person going back and stealing more money from the bank it really looked like a silent movie the actors really sold their performances.

Final Project

When I first started taking this class in the middle of my sophomore year I didn’t know what to expect. At first it was really weird acting and doing weird things in front of people i didn’t know, but I knew I was outgoing creative and funny so eventually it will work out. I never would have thought that their were so many different ways to act ONE SCENE, a scene can be completely different based on a smile or a frown.  I progressed drastically as the course went on lol I never liked these blogs post I use to not do them at all but then I realized how much it effected my grade. After my final Project skit last year I knew it was something I would want to do again. The following year I took this class again and this time we had A LOT of more students. I brought my talents and ideas to a group full of passionate students and directors with acting/dancing/singing backgrounds I learned how to work on staging this year it really brought my acting skills to the next level...
